Among the numerous social activities held throughout the year for Caloosa members are the evening dinner/dance theme parties, such as Mardi Gras, sponsored by the Club. Additionally, other events, such as dinner/dance cruises on Tampa Bay, evening shows at various performing arts facilities in the Tampa Bay area, shopping excursions, and other entertainment activities, fill Caloosa's social agenda.

There are many private parties and receptions held at the Club involving catered dinners, dancing, and other entertainment. Two groups, each involving almost 100 couples, meet at the clubhouse monthly throughout the winter season to socialize, share a catered dinner and dance to live music. For those interested in bridge, a group of women meet at the clubhouse every Wednesday to play bridge.

Club-sponsored mixed couples golf tournaments are held each month of the year. Special tournament mixers celebrate occasions such as Valentines Day, Memorial Day, Independance Day, and others. A catered dinner often follows the tournament. The game format is designed to involve all players. Pairings are structured to accommodate all skill levels so that everyone can compete for prizes and have a good time.
